It was announced by JYP Entertainment that Sunmi will be going on a hiatus from Wonder Girls to pursue her academics. Despite all the shock and sadness from this news, Sunmi Jjang will stand firm to support Sunmi’s decision whether as a Wonder Girl or ‘Sunmi’.
We will keep waiting for Sunmi.

i heard of wondergirls like on MTV when there was this K-Pop fest and the first song they sang was Nobody..and i couldnt stop thinking about sunmi after that..im so crazily in love..hahaha sunmi i love you very2 much! i’ll do my part by going korea personally i go to one of their concert and meet them but ill take a long time talking to sunmi,if she understands english.

I don’t think Sun Mi’s full name is Lee Sun Mi. I remember watching something on YouTube where SunYe said that her last name is Sun and her first name is just Mi. It’s kinda awkward to just call someone “Mi” so I think SunYe said that they just decided to call her by her full name instead…

her full name is Lee Sunmi (: she adopted her step-father’s surname which is ‘Lee’.
she kept her biological father’s surname is ‘Sun’ and her name ‘mi’ in her name as well, so it’s now ‘Lee Sunmi’.
