[Info+Photo] 21 May Update on Sunmi Fan Account
Hello everyone, this is Apple.
I am currently in Seoul, so I went down to JYP on the 21st of May to see Sunmi.
1. Appearance
As compared to my previous visit in December last year, Sunmi looks skinnier than then. “Chubby-Mi” has disappeared, despite so she does looks happier right now. But to play it safe, I told her to eat more and that she’s being too skinny right now haha. Sunmi sports a bright red hairstyle right now (similar to Sunye’s hair color). Her hair is shoulder length with bangs. I’m not allowed to take photos of Sunmi so I can’t share with you guys what it looks like right now but you can take a look at Sunmi’s drawing below of herself (:
2. Messages
As requested by some china fans and friends, I told her that a lot of people misses her and wishes to see her as well..Sorry I can’t send messages individually >.< … Following that…
3. Autograph
I asked her if it was okay to write a autograph for her foreign fans since many of us are worried about her current condition. She was writing “To: WonderFul” but she spelt ‘WonderFul’ wrong and just laughed at herself (LOL) but she just quickly flipped to a new page to re-write it again. I added, “In English!” and then her expression went into the whiny-sad mode (idk how to describe it, like the “okay :(” expression? it was really funny and cute though XD) For a longgggggg time, she was pretty stressed thinking of what message to write in English which brings me to the next point…
4. English
I curiously asked if she was still learning English these days, but she laughed embarassing-ly (yup, that means no. LOL) She was trying to write it secretly by not showing me what she’s writing (This girl -_-” LOL) but I told her that I could help her so I took a look and she was doing pretty fine. So she just continued writing with 100% concentration.. (I’d advise you guys to go pick up Korean if you want to converse with Sunmi comfortably HAHAHA)
5. Drawing
Finally, I added that a lot of fans are curious about her current hairstyle and asked her to draw herself and are current hairstyle below. She was smiling to herself the entire time when she was drawing herself (LOL Sunmi Quality for sure)
Etc.
Adult’s day – As it was adult’s day on 21 May, another fan gave sunmi a stalk of rose. Sunmi went “I received a rose!!”(in Korean) proudly to another staff member (LOOOOL) and then she walked back into JYPE marching style (like with both her arms swinging and taking big strides LMAO)
Wonder Girls – Sunmi pretty much still runs into the other Wonder Girl members occasionally at JYPE since Sunmi goes there to train as well. Of course I have no idea what goes on inside the building but I’m pretty sure they are still close ^^
EunSun – On Sat (19/02) Sunmi had her arm around Yeeun’s shoulder and was literally leaning onto her while walking back to JYP together. I thought she was drunk LOL but nah, it’s just the usual skinship :3 Since Sunmi plays well with Yeeun as well~
Anyhow, here’s the autograph I got for everyone (:

On Saturday 28 April, Sunmi’s support group ‘For Sunmi‘ by Korean Wonderfuls sent Sunmi an early birthday present.
Sunmi’s birthday gifts consisted of, custom made cake, umbrellas, a customized wall clock, nike running shoes, massage set, bean bag, gift vouchers and post-its which Korean WonderFuls have put in much thought and consideration in the selection process.
Birthday Cake: The Korean WonderFuls had a hard time deciding on the design of the cake for Sunmi. They finally decided upon a monkey, it can also be seen holding on to a microphone which was a special request.
Umbrellas: Umbrellas was prepared with the thought that WonderFuls will always watch over Sunmi, just like an umbrella that protects you from the sun, rain or wind.
Clock: Along with a photo of Sunmi a text that says, “24/7 Always With You” is also printed on the clock to let Sunmi know that she is always in our hearts.
Shoes: The selected pair of shoes is from Nike’s Free Run series which was just released in April. Running shoes was prepared for Sunmi so that she can be comfortable during her usual dance practices.
Massage Set: Whenever Sunmi is feeling tired or listless, the massage set can help her to relax
Bean Bag: As the bean bag is a type of chair which you can ‘bury’ yourself in. After working hard at practice, Sunmi can lay down in the bean bag to rest.
Gift Voucher: Although it isn’t a big amount, gift vouchers worth 100,000won was prepared with consideration for Sunmi to use when necessary.
Post-its: Lastly, post-its with messages collected from cafe members were pasted at the company.
While the Korean fans was putting up the Post-its, Sunmi happened to go to JYPE as well. As Sunmi saw the fans putting up post-its for her birthday, she was in a pretty good mood and gave an authentication autograph.

After receiving the gifts, Sunmi also personally uploaded a photo of the cake taken by herself as well as a bonus drawing she made!
